Oskar's visit with President Mark Riccobono

Oskar had a wonderful visit today from Mr. Mark Riccobono, the president of the National Federation of the Blind. Did he travel all the way to Seattle from Baltimore just to give Oskar a toy crab?! We'd like to think so, but the fact is that he has many important meetings all over the country. We do have some exciting projects in store, however, because the NFB recognizes that Oskar can inspire people from all walks of life to live life to the fullest!

The National Federation of the Blind is the oldest and largest organization led by blind people in the United States.

Their philosophy: "The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back."

Oskar's resilient and adventurous spirit has already inspired so many around the world. Now, in partnership with the National Federation of the Blind, we're developing tools designed to encourage blind kids to explore the world with confidence! STAY TUNED for exciting announcements that are coming soon!

Oskar & Klaus want you to live the life that you want! A life of adventure and friendship!
