A Night to Remember - Mill Creek, WA

There was a great turnout of friends from all across the Pacific Northwest who came out to meet Oskar & Klaus and to hear about their latest adventures! The authors of the Oskar & Klaus BOOK SERIES, Mick Szydlowski and Travis Bossard, read from the new book, Oskar & Klaus: The Mission to Cataria.

Young Oskar & Klaus book fans had their pictures taken with the Astrocats!

Even better...

We were able to raise funds for the region's premier cat shelter, The Seattle Humane Society. Because the Oskar & Klaus book series is published independently, we were able to donate $5 for every book sold to the Seattle Humane Society so that they can continue the amazing work of finding forever homes for amazing pets.

But, the best part of all...

The Seattle Humane Society came and brought a bus full of amazing adoptable cats!

Before the evening was over, not one but TWO beautiful cats were able to go home with some of Oskar & Klaus' new friends! Can you believe that?! One lovely 9-month old kitten was even adopted by... the manager of the book store! We think that's pretty incredible.

She just sent us photos and a report on how the little fella has been doing...

"Our family is SO in love with him!  Even our nanny texted me that she "isn't getting anything done" because she can't stop petting him!  We feel like we hit the kitty jackpot!  The kids renamed him Buster."

We are simply thrilled that Buster and one other cat were able to find their new families at the Oskar & Klaus event last week! Here's Buster taking a snooze in his loving new home.

Oskar & Klaus just want to end with a reminder to always check your local shelters and rescues when you're ready to welcome a new pet into your family. There is NEVER a shortage of sweet, loving cats waiting to be adopted. YOU CAN HELP THEM RIGHT NOW! Oskar & Klaus are continuing to donate $5 for every Oskar & Klaus book sold ALL WEEK! Plus, each book sold will include a FREE PAWtograph from Oskar & Klaus!
